Conventions of a movie trailer
within movie trailers are repeated conventions that occur in most if not all movie trailers, for example a quick snappy tempo, this is particularly apparent within my chosen movie trailer of "Suicide Squad" by keeping the scenes short and snappy, it reveals little about the film but still lures the audience in. keeping the trailer short also keeps the audiences attention, meaning they don't get bored and loose interest of the product as a whole.
Another convention found within movie trailers is previews of the biggest stars within the film, they usually are composed of a mid shot or a close up. this entices fans of a certain star.
Trailers also use lots of non diegetic sound this creates both rhythm and mood to the trailer, by keeping the music at a fast tempo push's the trailer to create more ambience towards actions scenes.
